Generations at Home offers a variety of personal care services to ensure your loved one is able to perform normal daily activities with confidence. We provide personal care for a few hours a day up to 24 hours, 7 days per week.
Personal hygiene is a critical part of good overall health care. Our Care Partners are specifically trained to assist Elders in bathing or showering. We also can assist with daily oral care including dentures and partials.
We understand the importance of proper toileting and continence care in maintaining the Elders self-esteem and confidence. Our Care Partners are trained in all aspects of this care and can ensure these activities are completed efficiently, ensuring the Elder’s dignity and self respect.
Mobility is a key part of an Elder maintaining their independence at home. Whether the Elder uses a wheelchair, uses a walker, or walks on their own, our Care Partners can ensure they move safely and securely inside and outside of the home. We assist them in getting in and out of bed, to the bathroom, and anywhere else they need to go. Our Care Partners are trained in using Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids.
If there are special dietary needs such as low sugar or low sodium, we can work with Nutritionists or family to prepare meals which adhere to these needs. We can also do the grocery shopping for the particular items on the dietary menu.
